A Service to industry
Window film was a spin off from the space programme in the 1960s. NASA used similar products on their early spacecraft to reflect the heat from the sun. They needed something to withstand extreme heat on re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere.
When the original Southgate company was founded in the 1970s, we used Madico film imported from America. More recently, we have introduced other quality brands to supplement our range of innovative products.

Over the years, we have made service our priority – always turning up when promised to deliver a finished product that is second to none – on time, every time!
Window blinds were an early addition to our offering and more recently we have expanded into graphics and vinyl wraps.
Our experience when it comes to installing is unrivalled and we pride ourselves on our readiness to find a solution to any challenging situation.
Many window film installations require an external application and our operatives are trained and qualified.
Our growth is down to product knowledge and experience and the ability to come up with a solution.
